I was thinking of geting a 2rd 980ti but i was wondering if my cpu could handle all the data 2 of thises cards would need would they be any bottleneck? If thrre would even be any i dont want to get a 2rd card right now and stop upgradeing things iv planed to

Absolutely not. Not under DX11 anyway. You will see a small increase with a six core cpu under dx 12 only.

The only CPU truly worth upgrading to is an i7-5930K. Seriously, your CPU is perfectly capable of handling even two TITAN Xs in SLI. You only need to upgrade to an X99 platform if you are going to run at least 3-way SLI.
