Adjusting color settings in nvidia control panel?

Does this even affect games? Whenever I play a full screen game the color resets and I have to reset it when I back out by moving the slider. I've selected Full Screen Videos and Desktop Program and it still doesn't stick. All my other settings in control panel stick however. I'm just assuming color doesn't affect games at this point.

Solution
Access "NVIDIA Control Panel" - Right click on desktop, Nvidia Control Panel
-Display - Change resolution
Scroll down for "Output Dynamic Range" - Change to Full or Limited.

If this is not what you mean, perhaps it would be better to change whichever color settings with the display settings (settings menu on the monitor/tv) instead of through software.

That seemed to fix it. Under resolution, it was Limited instead of full.

Many games override color profiles in Windows as well as Nvidia control panel options.

If games are played in fake full screen this seems to happen less and 3rd party programs(Color Profile Keeper for example) can attempt to keep color settings. With a program like that you would make adjustments then capture them to a CPKeeper profile and it would try its best to force them. Another option is Color Sustainer, but it uses actual profiles(ICC, ICM) instead of capturing settings that are currently active.

EDIT. I see you added a post. Limited(instead of full) is more for TV's than computer monitors. Also set it under Video in case your video player uses Limited by default.
