can't figure out which psu and ups to get

I don't know how to decide which power supply unit and uninterruptible power supply to get.

I have Intel Core i5 4590 CPU

Corsair Vengence 8 GB (2x4 GB) DDR3 1600 RAM

Western Digital RE2 750 GB 3.5 inch 7200 rpm HDD

MSI H97 Gaming 3 ATX LGA1150 motherboard

MSI Geforce GTX 750 Ti 2 GB TWIN FROZR video card

Windows 10 Operating System
I didn't find much. The psu needs to have at least the same amount of watts as the parts need. The ups has rechargable batteries and keeps power on long enough to properly turn off your PC.

We do not have a ranking on any Cougar power supplies. I have heard of them in the past, and would not recommend them based on what I heard.

The power supply I linked is a high quality power supply and will serve you well for years. Remember that if your power supply cannot provide smooth, stable power to your system, it will not perfect at its best, and every part in your case needs power. So this is the most important item in your system. Do not buy a cheap, low quality power supply.

When you get down to the smaller power supplies, it gets harder to get a high quality unit. But I have learned to trust Seasonic, and believe that they made the best power supplies on the planet. I only buy Seasonic for my own power supplies.

The UPS choice is a much tougher choice for me to make a selection on, in part because the bigger unit you get, the more time it will function after a power outage. So in the end, after digging through them units pcpartpicker.com has, and aiming at something close to a 10 minute backup, I picked the unit below.
