Computer sluggish and turns off

Hello I am hoping some one can please help me.

my computer was working fine just yesterday. when I turned it on today the computer was sluggish almost none responsive took for ever to open programs and took even longer for the web browsers to load.

I have no idea what is causing this issue the heat seems to be fine the only other thing that comes to mind is maybe the hdd. I am using windows 10 and have manually disabled some of the start up tasks to lower the disk usage but that did not seem to help

I'd recommend you to check the connections in your PC and make sure everything is plugged properly. The turning off of the computer could also indicate a PSU or a memory problem. However, if you are concerned about the HDD, you should try testing it using its manufacturer's diagnostic tool. This utility will help you determine the health and SMART status of the drive and you should be able to find it on their website.
I'd also try running a cleaning software and do a malware/antivirus scan, see if anything suspicious pops up.

Then , open cmd as administrator and type chkdsk /f .After that try sfc /scannow.

Also you can try : http://crystalmark.info/download/index-e.html .This will check your S.M.A.R.T status

Try these and report back.
