Hello!
I bought my pc quite a while ago and upgraded some stuff like SSD, GPU and case but I never actually upgraded the CPU.
It is overclocked and it will go even a little bit higher. like 4.5 ghz
Do I have to upgrade the CPU and motherboard? If so, I would love to have an overclockable CPU.

My setup:
Asus P8P67 Deluxe
Core i5 2500k 4.2ghz
Asus Strix GTX 780 6GB
Geil EVO Corsa 8GB DDR3
Corsair RM 850
Corsair H100i
Samsung 830 series 256GB
WD Blue 1TB
NZXT S340 White

Solution
Your system, including the CPU, is doing well and should continue to do well for a few more years. I don't see anything in your specs that needs upgrading. Keep enjoying what you have for a while longer. :)

Well, for me it isn't worth it (because I'm a poor bastard :D) the new Skylake CPUs are only 25% or so ahead of Sandy Bridge (2nd gen i3/i5/i7), so to match an i5 6600k (3.5GHz) you would need an 4.375GHz Sandy Bridge and you got that (4.5GHz) so it's even faster than a 6600k. if you can overclock your CPU further then you're golden :)
