Hey, everyone, I've been having problems lately after a power outage and I thought it damaged my PSU, I've replaced it but I'm still having crashes / lockups, sometimes even the BSOD..

When the pc doesn't completely freeze up it says that the video driver has crashed and has successfully been restored. It usually happens when I'm playing games but not when I'm making a game in a game engine or browsing the internet. Sometimes my audio just goes out from the TV but still works when I use headsets but the game keeps going smoothly. I also installed the latest windows 10 drivers from GeForce Experience.. Can it be that I have a damaged GPU/Motherboard?

My specs are:
Intel Core i7 4770
GTX 645 2Gb (OEM)
8Gb RAM DDR3 1600Mhz

And my motherboard is an
ASRock H81M-VG4 R2.0

The power supply I purchased is a EVGA Supernova 650G1

Solution
well, if the whole computer didn't freeze i think it's your GPU. try getting a new one, let's say an HD7950 or HD7970 (though i recommend the 7950. pretty much every custom design one can overclock to 7970 (GHz) levels withouthaving massive temps and if you get a second hand one, you'll find it for 80-100$) or try putting the gpu into a computer of a friend and test if there are the same problems or not :)

Yes I did some overclocking but now I stopped for the hot days because of heat, and the GPU was a dedicated one that came with my pc that I upgraded overtime (pre-built PC, now custom).

Yesterday I was playing online with a friend using my headsets and it still crashed but I was still able to hear my friend and talk to him even with a frozen screen

Allright, I'll see if I can get my GPU tested on one of my friend's rigs. If on their machine it won't crash can it be my motherboard?

well, then try another GPU on your rig, for example that which your friend has, and begin from there. try to run the PC with only 1 RAM stick, try your friends PSU, CPU (if he's running on the same socket). Good luck :)
