first thing first, here is my pc build:
-thermaltake core v1 case
-fsp hyper 700w
-msi h81 m-itx mobo
-kingston fury 8gig ram
-msi gtx 970 4g
-g3258 cpu
Now here is my problem; cpu is bought to be replaced later like in 2-3 months so i need to know which one is the best to replace the current. My only concern is gaming, no programming or rendering or any stuff like that. I probably use this set up for 2-3 years so it needs to be ''future proof'' as you people call. I know in h series mobos its not possible to OC but since its unlocked with latest BIOS updates, i can OC 3258 thanks to it, and assuming its possible to OC i5 4690k as well, i am going to test it with 4690k in 2 days, which one is to buy? I mean if i5 is OC-able and your only concern is playing games would you people go for e3 1231 or i5 4690k?.
