Looking for mobo that supports my cpu out of the box

that's the risk you take if the chip is not listed under ''all'' or at first release bios

theres no guarantee what bios will ship to you on a board -- all you can do is see whats said on the boards cpu supported list and plan from that

most times if you walk in to a shop to buy this can be checked on the sticker on the box if its not shown on the box by a sticker its first release

'' The BIOS version required for that CPU has been released for over a year on most motherboard models ''

that means nothing as said no guarantees the board will ship with anything more then first release 1 year old or 100 -- my board was a year old and still came here with first release from newegg

that's the chance you take and plenty of guys here at toms post on this with boards they got as well

if not sure buy the board first and then you know what bios is on it then order the correct chip you may be willing to use or a cheapest on that you can use to flash with to the bios for the chip you do want to use
