Best CPU ffor FM2 FM2+ chipset

Hello,

I'm looking to do a cpu upgrade and I'd prefer not to upgrade my motherboard. I currently have a AMD 760K CPU on a MSI A78M-E35 FM2+ / FM2 mobo. Any recommendations for a CPU upgrade that'll provide noticeable difference or am I pigeonholed?

The GPU is actually disabled on this chipset but that is fine as I received a GTX 970 from a friend (I know big bottle neck there but free is free). I appreciate the link I'm just very jaded from overclocking as I've burned two CPU's in my youth. Ill check it out though.

I run everything I own overclocked even the I3's I have are .1 to .2 mhz faster than they should. If you take the time to research how to Overclock and look up potential issues with your CPU/Motherboard combo you should never have a issue just make sure you have good cooling, Stock coolers limit drastically what you can do.
