Do I need to sell my PSU and buy a new one?

Hi guys, I have been working on a new build for some time, and have accumulated the parts over some months. The power supply was one of the first parts I purchased, and at the time I was sure 500W would be enough. Now I have just ordered the final few parts, and I am starting to have doubts as to whether 500W will be enough in reality.

If I was buying a PSU now, I would just go for a higher wattage one, but since I already have the PSU, I'd like to avoid doing that where possible. Does anyone have any insight as to whether or not 500W will actually be enough for my system? Should I sell my PSU or buy another one or will it be alright? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Since the only component that will require the most power is the R9 290X and you are not overclocking using a K processor, it will be enough to run. On the other hand, the PSU is just rated at Bronze and isn't optimally efficient. So if you want to overclock the video card, the power supply is not the best. I would advise to upgrade to one rated at 650w+ and with Gold or Platinum when there is some discount deals. Seasonic and Corsair are my top choices.
The 500W ought to be plenty. The Corsair CX series is not really a good brand, though. It will be fine in the immediate short term, especially since you don't have an overclocking CPU, but I would not rely on it for the long run.
