Have looked around and can't seem to find this issue anywhere. I just upgraded my cpu to a intel 4790k, the mobo bios recognizes the cpu, boots up normally, no visible issues shown/no heat issues. Windows see's it as well...
My issue is, whenever I restart the system, the fans go full speed when it hits POST and CPU error 00 shows on mobo. Turn off, turn on and everything works fine.
I've seen on other threads that it is suggested that the BIOS is updated, yet those were issues where the system wouldn't post at all. In my case, it posts and cpu is see by the BIOS.
I thought something may be shorting it out, but nothing is making contact anywhere that would cause a short. I even unplugged a few fans since one fan was being funky.
Has anyone seen this issue and have any suggestions?
