hi there people, I thought to share my problem with you guys before going and spending money on a new hard drive
I got a - Samsung F3 1 TB sata 2 7200 hard drive (I think the module name is - "HS103SJ")
So I had the default 1AJ00001 and wanted to update to the newest 1AJ00002.
I went here -
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=R306059
seemed like that's what I needed (it got a desktop PC) flashed that, the "completed" message popped in the dos and I restarted the PC, only to find out that it took ages for the bios to startup, and it didn't recognized my Samsung HDD (windows sits on another ssd drive).
* the drive is spinning.
now can I reverse it, is it doomed, or can it be fixed somehow?
thanks for the help in advance!
SOLUTION:
I've updated my bios to a newer version and it fixed it.
