I just built a new computer a few weeks ago, and I am bothered by the hum of the PSU's fan. I have a EVGA Supernova 1300 G2. I can hear it from across the room, and even one room away. It hums like a freezer. I want to get rid of it, and get something quieter, of about the same or better quality.

My system:
FX-8350
Nepton 120XL liquid cooler
4x 80mm Noctua Redux fans
2x 120mm Noctua Redux fans
Rosewill RSV L4000 4U Rackmount Case
Asus GTX 780
10x Hot-swap SAS/SATA hard drive bays in the front
SAS RAID card
SCSI RAID Card

Please help me find a quieter PSU. Thanks.

Quiet, efficient operation

80 PLUS Platinum efficiency and Zero RPM Fan Mode mean that at low to medium loads, the fan doesn’t spin at all. And when you do push the HXi hard, the thermally controlled fan spins only as fast as it needs to.

But that’s not all. It’s quieter than most PSUs when the fan’s not spinning, too. The HXi is built with capacitors and other internal components specially selected to reduce coil whine and other electronic noise.

It doesn't come with eco mode on this model. How much % of a 1300w psu will my system use at idle/full load? One power supply calculator site said that with 10 SAS drives, it might need about a 950W PSU. I only use 2 10K SAS drives and 2 SATAs at the moment, but want the capability to use all 10 bays if needed.
