I have recently finished building my system. My motherboard is an msi z97 gaming 5 and everything works fine, windows loads and everything feels great and fine. However, I still constantly have error codes displaying on my motherboard. When it launches, its usually quite random but during normal time, its usually something between 30 - 45 with very frequent changes. Any ideas? I thought error codes were for when the BIOS cant post boot. Is my error code display just bugged? I Also get 9C in the corner of the screen on boot and A2

Its not an error codes indicator, its POST codes and tells you what stage the 'bios' is at, what its working on.
Its useful in diagnosing problems because if you don't make it past things like Memory checking or GPU initialization its make isolating the problem easy.
