Hi, I've got the Logitech G930 wireless "7.1" (because it's digital surround) headset, and it's the best headset i've had so far.
I've only got one issue; I love using the surround sound in games like Evolve, Skyrim, and pretty much any FPS. However, I frequently talk to friends with Skype, or listen to music in the background, and when I turn on surround sound, it also makes those "surround sound" (making them sound weird).
I asked my friend what he does (he has a surround soudn razer headset), and he said he can just set what program he wants surround in Razer Synapse.
I cannot seem to find that option in Logitech Game Software, so I'm not sure what to do about this.
If anyone knows how to solve this, help would be appreciated!
Thanks! :D

Sliding the switch off would turn off surround sound for battlefield, music, and skype.

I want to be able to listen to skype and music, in regular non-surround stereo, and listen to Battlefield in surround, both at the same time. The switch would not work for this
You should be able to turn off "headphone virtualization" in the sound options of the options property (right click on volume, go to "playback devices", then "properties" for your device). There might also be some sort of "expand stereo" option in the logitec software

I know that I can turn surround off and on with the switch, but I mean this:
I've got skype and music going in the background, along with, say, Battlefield
I want to be able to have surround sound ON for Battlefield, but OFF for skype and music.
With all 3 going at the same time.
