Future RAM Change, tips?

Hey guys so currently im switching my RAM Sticks, since they are super ancient & dont know the brand of them but im changing them too the Corsair Vengeance RAM Sticks since im getting them free why not, will i have too uninstall anything before i change RAM, or is there any precautions?

Just make sure Both the cpu and motherboard will take 1.5v ram happily. Some newer Intel processors uses 1.35v for memory controllers, and the memory modules should also use the same voltage for best stability.

How ancient is the motherboard? If you do not know, download CPU-Z and get some screenshots of both the CPU info and the motherboard info and post them where we can see them.

The Mobo is new actually, i got the MSI 970 Mobo, just the RAM Sticks are ancient

I'll get you some screenshots of the RAM Info once i get home in a bit.
