This is my computer. http://m.tigerdirect.com/products/5287092 I need to know what motherboard size this is and if I can replace it. If I can replace it what other motherboard can I replace it with that will be able to support an Intel core i5 4790? Sorry for bad spelling. It is a low profile computer and I added a low profile GeForce gtx 640. Anyway what size motherboard is this and can it be replaced with a different motherboard? The other thing I thought about was just buying a cheap $30 case and replacing motherboard and power supply at the same time since it'll have to be upgraded in near future anyway. If I were to buy these parts at micro center do you think they would be willing to help me assemble my new motherboard and power supply?

OK. The motherboard is a custom 'backwards' one (card slots on the left as you look at the back) with a non-standard I/O shield, so standard motherboard will be a real challenge to fit and will require a lot of case mangling. I would not try it.

You old motherboard will also not fit in a standard case. When you go to a new motherboard, you will also need a new OS or to reinstall the old one. It is keyed to the motherboard.

With a new motherboard and CPU, and RAM, and PSU, and case, you may be able to salvage some of the old parts, including the GPU. Some stores will assemble the bits for you, but few will help you or let you participate.
