I booted up my PC for the first time. Then I noticed my evo's heatpipes were crushed at the tip. I quickly turned off the PC. The cooler fan was spinning. I installed it so it pushes air through the pipes. Here's a picture.

That is normal. The pipes are crimped and sealed on the one end, so they all don't have the "dome" look. If the heat pipes weren't working your PC will very quickly over heat.

Nothing to worry about.
As Mr5oh mentions, this is completely normal.

Heatpipes have a textured surface or wic inside to help with the movement of liquid/gas between the hot CPU surface and the aluminum fins. This stuff would leak out if the pipes aren't sealed. So it is most common to crimp, solder or crimp+weld the tips.

I've had 10+ heatpipe heatsinks by Sunbeam, Xigmatek, Phanteks and Coolermaster. They all do the same thing. :)
