Can you put Windows 7 on an SSD after you have installed it on a HDD?

My friend is building his PC in a new case and was thinking about getting a separate SSD for the OS.

yes, the cd that is included with most ssds like samsung come with cloning utilities.


the samsung migration I have used twice and works great, took me about 20 minutes to clone it to the ssd with no issues. there are other free programs that will do this as well.
