Tried many fixes found on the net but nothing seems to kick the issue.

I have an ok samsung laptop windows 7 installed + cooler and use wi-fi connection, was playing cs go then first time ever, ping got up to an unfixable 900 and since then I cannot play cs go or team fortress, nothing!

Can someone pinpoint what might be the problem?

It could be that too many devices are currently connected to the WiFi.

Another problem could be that someone is torrenting your house?

I also found this checklist to perform to help (got this from Christiaan Lourens):
Step 1 : Change Router Password, check if router is working properly
Step 2: Make sure windows, GPU drivers, other software isn't downloading drivers/ updates.
Step 3: Make sure Steam games aren't downloading/ updating
Step 4: During a game minimise with Win key or Alt + Tab and check to see if Steam mods aren't downloading (The workshop likes to download while gaming)
Step 5: If your router has a antenna for wifi either disable it or unplug/ unscrew the antenna.
Step 6: Ask ppl in the house if they are using the net, check devices if they are using it (relatives might be watching HD Youtube vids ect.)
Step 7: Do ping test, Speedtest to check if it isn't your ISP
Step 8: If Speed & ping is good then no one in the house is using the net.
Step 9: Contact ISP via email & phone and find out what is going on.
Step 10: If nothing has changed switch ISP's
