I have a Gigabyte R7 260x GPU in my build and I am going to upgrade to Windows 10. How would I go about getting the display drivers for it? I went to gigabytes website and they dont have any downloads for Windows 10 display drivers. What should I do? Should I try installing the Windows 7/8 drivers?

You dont get them from gigabyte you get it from AMD.

You should not have done that to begin with the AMD drivers on gigabytes website are very old version 14.10 we are at 15.7 now, have you been using those drivers the whole time you have had this card? If so your card was not performing at its best. From now on get your drivers from AMD they are the ones who make them, gigabyte obviously doesn't update their site with the latest AMD drivers.

Its possible, what CPU do you have? That could also be caused by running a haswell cpu with an older non haswell certified power supply.

Ok well then that is not the problem. If you want try to make the problem occur when your done with the upgrade (who knows the upgrade itself might fix it). Then open event viewer, double click windows logs, in the drop down menu choose system. This displays system logs, it records errors even when in sleep and displays them there look for an error that occurred around when you put the computer asleep (it tells you time and date of each error) errors will have a red icon next to them, warnings will have a yellow icon, and regular logs have a white icon, read the error if their is one and post it, it should give me some idea as to what is causing it.

What did it do randomly? Give a black screen? Usually distributed com errors are nothing to worry about but a whole page full of them might be a problem. Are there any other errors? If not grab a screenshot of the details when you click on one of the errors.
