Hi,
I just got a 2TB Seagate hard drive with Cache 64MB 7200RPM SATA 6
I installed it in to my 3.1/2 hard drive enclosure NaxStar CX
Ok I plug it in to my Latitude D520 Laptop thru USB 2.0 And it does not want to show up. The light is on. I put my ear to the enclosure I hear a clicking sound that's it. Im not sure If It's DOA or it's does not work with my laptop. I never had this problem before with my old system. I never got a DOA hard drive before so this will be the first time.
I check the bios It isn't there I also went in to computer management and it don't show up there either.
So what do you think It's DOA?
Please note I have no other desktop or laptops to test this with.
Any help would be thankful
