Should I upgrade my RAM?

I use this mostly for gaming. My current build is:

Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 @3.4 Ghz
RAM: G. Skill Ripjaws X 8GB
Video Card:MSI GTX 970 4G Gaming 4GB DDR5
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-M Pro
PSU: Orion 600 watts
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 120GB
HDD: WD Blue 1TB

I was thinking if I should upgrade my ram from 8GB to 16GB. Why or why not?

Are you running out of RAM? That's the condition for increasing the RAM and we don't know whether you are or not.

If you're in the mood to make an upgrade, the only thing that stands out is that junk power supply.

lol didn't realize I haven't updated my PSU. I just copy-pasted my specs from my old post. I recently bought a new PSU. Corsair VS650

Are you just gaming or doing other heavy task like video rendering? If pure gaming, no need to upgrade RAM as 8gb should be enough
