New CPU, mobo, and heatsink: temperatures spiking to high levels?

Hello, I just recently upgrade my system going from an AMD to Intel and so far I'm having issues with the CPU temperature spiking greatly. For example, I can be playing Guild Wars 2 and the temperature will spike from 48*C to 65*C at times. My temperatures spiked from ~30*C to 65*C too while using "ChrisPC Win Experience Index" to rate my new hardware. I only recently installed Core Temp again about a day after installing the new hardware and Windows 8.1 so this is about as much information as I can provide for now. Here are my specs below -

Old system:

  • ■AMD Phenom II x4 955
    ■970A-UD3 mobo
    ■ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED 92mm 2 Ball CPU heatsink
    ■Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste

New system:

  • ■Intel i7-4790k
    ■GA-Z97X-UD5H mobo
    ■Noctua NH-D14 6 heatsink
■[thermal paste included with the Noctua heatisnk, not sure what it's called]

I know this is a newer and more powerful CPU, but the temperatures shouldn't be spiking this much. I am also not overclocking at the moment. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

PS. Here is a rather blurry image of my pc showing the heatsink orientation. It's a pretty bad quality picture but it serves its purpose in this case. http://i.imgur.com/02IB25t.jpg

Solution
65c for an Intel CPU is a nice cool day. You have nothing to worry about.

AMD CPU's are much more sensitive to heat than the Intel CPU's, and even they can run 24/7 at 65c.

I see, in that case I've got nothing to worry about. Thanks for the info!
