I have a HP 280 G1 Microtower business desktop with Core i3 4160 and 4GB ram, PSU - 180 watts. Can this desktop support a mid-range graphics card like GTX 760? The HP Motherboard has PCI X16 slot, however I realize that the GTX 760 requires an 8-pin and 6-pin auxiliary power connectors. I am not sure whether these auxiliary connectors must be connected to the MB or the PSU and whether my MB has these connectors present to support the card (if the aux pins are to be connected to the MB).
I know that I will also have to upgrade my power supply to a 500 watts PSU, however i am not sure whether the HP motherboard can support a third-party ATX PSU. Can I replace the HP 180 watt PSU with a third-party ATX PSU for e.g Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX?
Another concern I have - will the stock HP case for business desktop allow for sufficient air-flow for the added graphics card without additional fans?
Thanks.

Solution
Look at the existing power supply size and shape, compare to the ATX format, by looking at the thing, it does look like a standard ATX size. I would add another fan to the case, although I am running a stock Dell case about the same size with a GTX 460 card with no issues.

The power to the video card goes from the power supply.
