Hi guys, I just assembled my new rig and the CPU temps get me a little worried. Right now it is 35 degrees at idle and when playing games like csgo or gta V it reaches 65 degrees. My room temp is 32 degree average these days. I am currently using the H110i GT Corsair liquid cooling. Are those temps seem to be out of hand or normal?

Solution
those are slightly above normal, but that ambient is also above normal. about ten degrees or so. the i7 4790K is infamous for running extremely hot, and while those temps might drop with a re-seat and some fresh thermal paste, they are not unheard of. overclocking really brings out the devil, in that chip, it can hit 90 with a h100i on it at 4.8 GHz if you have a poorly binned chip.

Thanks for the answer man! I am thinking of taking the cooler off and apply new fresh thermal paste. Do you know how can I clean up the old thermal paste on it properly?
