The issue is with Inspiron 660 and XPS 8300 (I think, not sure) - both have UEFI first generation BIOS, so without Dell update, which doesn't exist, GTX 900 series are not compatible. Similar situation is with AMD cards
.
Surprisingly enough, older Leagacy BIOS based Dells are OK with GTX900 series.

Can you explain where you got this message? And, which exact model of GTX 750TI you used?

I've seen posts that some brands of newer video cards require EUFI to run, and older computers don't have this. I'm using PNY GTX750Ti O/C on Dimension E520 from 2006 OK. Bought the card at local store so I could check system requirements for this issue. Maybe that's what you're having. Post I saw was MSI card.
