MSN Zone Games Not Loading

I can't seem to find an answer for this. I'm trying to play games in MSN Zone Games. Several years ago I was able to get on no problem. It's been a few years since I've visited the site but now that I am I can't get past the loading screen. I've accepted and installed everything it asks. Still not working. I've also noticed that the amount of players for a few games I've looked at (Uno and Spades) are lower than they used to be. I'm on Windows 7 64-Bit and have tried Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer 11 all to no avail. I will note that this is a new computer I'm using versus the one I used to have. The old one was running Windows XP.

I'm pretty sure MS no longer supports the MSN Zone stuff.

Not if they don't keep up the games with support for new OS and browser versions. Try using an XP system and see if it works.

Seems MS migrated Zone to just Games https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MSN_Games but they have not been working very hard on keeping things running well.

I know I have an older game that used to be linked to Zone login that had to be migrated off that to another authentication.

I can see if Windows XP helps. There site says up to Windows 8.1 is compatible. Also that wiki is referring to the same thing I am since the website has not changed I believe: http://zone.msn.com/en-us/home

UPDATE: Trying the games in XP worked! Now I suppose I need to find out how I can trick MSN Zone into thinking I'm on XP when I'm really on Win7 (and Win8 since I have that OS as well).

You can setup a virtual XP install on the Windows 7 system and run that when you want to play MSN games, there is a free virtual box from Oracle that I used before.

On a modern system it's about as fast as the host system for just about anything. Just make sure you have enough RAM, if you have 4 you may want to get 8.
