those policys are not created and legislated by EVGA. It's the country's laws he has to check out.

(and the shipping rates of Amazon.com to India lol)

Edit: oh regarding the warranty. If the product is bought from amazon, the warranty is valid worldwide for the time amazon states. (you can pay extra @amazon for longer warranty)

If your package gets audited by customs, it can get expensive. As for warranty, most manufacturers have different SKUs for each market and if you make a warranty claim, they will usually tell you to send the GPU to their RMA processing center for the market the GPU was originally intended for, which means you would have to ship it back to the USA for repair.

I forgot to add that's a good point on the sku #

they could be cards meant to be sold lets say for the us market only and evga may look at that funny as well or as said you end up shipping it around the world for months on end at high cost to you overall if something was wrong with the card ??
