Basically, I'm getting a GTX-950 in the mail tomorrow, and my current CPU will bottleneck it. Would there be any danger to plugging the GTX-950 into my current setup?
I understand that it WILL be bottlenecked and that my performance won't be as good until I get a proper CPU, but will there be any longterm effects on any of my components?
I hope I'm making the question clear. Basically: am I safe to use my GTX with a weak CPU until I get a better one, or will there be some longterm negative effect?
