Hello,

I wish to get the Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra Thermal "Paste" (It's liquid metal) and I would like to know if It's suitable with the following parts:
Intel Core i5 3570
Scythe Shuriken 3 Heat Pipes CPU Cooler SCSK-1100
Asus P8Z77-V LX 2

I also would like to apply it to my GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670.

Solution
Sence its a liquid your expected to scrape up your CPU (I belive it comes with steel wool) so the liquid goes in the cracks. Its conductive thermal paste so be VERY careful. As far as the GPU goes. No don't use it for your GPU. it will kill it instantly.

I know about the danger of the liquid going to the cracks and destroying the CPU eventually, but I know that I should apply a VERY thin layer and at the center of the CPU, which makes it fine i guess. I mean, people do use the liquid metal after all.
Or.. Is liquid metal used ONLY for the part under the IHS?

About the GPU part: I know the liquid can get on the resistors around the GPU die, though a guy here is applying a normal Thermal Compound on them to prevent the liquid damaging them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8X2gBCV67Qw (start at 5:52). Will it also work for me?
