I just installed the newest version of Kali Linux to my HDD on my PC and I have an Asus PCE-AC68 wifi card. Currently my Wi Fi is not working and I'm not sure what to do.. on Mint I had to go under driver manager and change something but Kali doesnt have a driver manager and I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm assuming my wifi card will work with the open source driver because it did with Linux mint but I'm not sure how to configure it. Right now in terminal I can only see my Ethernet connect, no wlan. Any advice?

Solution
If you don't know how to solve simple issue like this then you have no business with Kali which is a distrobution designed for professional pentesters and generally requires advanced linux knowledge. My advice to you is to stick with Ubuntu or mint until you at least gain knowledge of how to install a wireless driver/firmware.

Hint: find out what chip set your card uses first ;)

Just thought I'd try a new distro but and even though I found this reply a little condescending I cannot deny the fact that you're right. I am a Linux noob so I've reverted back to Mint for the time being and I'm trying to gain a better understanding of the terminal and the role drivers play in Linux.

Thanks.
