I am new to building a PC and would like to know if these all are compatible?

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz Quad Core Processor – Unlocked £179.99 inc. VAT
Motherboard: Asus Z97-P Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £65.99 inc. VAT
RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair Vengeance Jet Black 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Dual/Quad Channel Kit [CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9] £40.55 inc. VAT
Graphics card: Gigabyte NVIDIA GTX 970 WindForce OC 4GB Graphics Card £258.50 inc. VAT
PSU: orsair CS750M CS Modular 80 Plus GOLD-RATE 750W 12V Power Supply

This is just it so far but these are the main ones.

Why do you have such a powerful unlocked CPU paired with an average motherboard?
