Hello,

I have a Solidgear 650E PSU (http://www.amazon.com/Solid-Gear-ATX12V-650-Watts-SDGR-650E/dp/B00A8ZZUXO) and am wondering what the best option is for SLI support. It only has a single 6 pin (+2) for PCI-e. Should I buy a dual SATA to 6-pin or a dual MOLEX to 6-pin?

It will be driving two GTX 650 ti Boost's, so the 650W PSU should be sufficient in that regard.

Thank you,
Wes

I have an AMD FX-8350 on a Gigabyte UD3 motherboard. 8gb RAM, 1TB HDD, 256GB SSD. What wattage is needed to drive all this with 2 GTX 650 ti Boosts? I may be able to swing for another PSU.

I would say probably an 600-750 of a GOOD quality power supply. Running SLI eats a good amount of power. Buy something good like XFX or EVGA. But don't buy a CX series from corsair. Alot of people do that

I realize the poor reviews. It came as a bare bones bundle that I purchased and I was leery of it then too. That being said, I have had 0 issues with it thus far. I can't spend $80+ on a new power supply, but might be able to justify 60 or so. If someone gives a decent recommendation, I may be able to pursue it.
