Hi! So this is probably a nobrainer for some of you but can someone please explain why my computer is running 32bit while I have a 64bit OS.
I have 8GB of RAM and I dont think thats the issue. My Craph card (if thats important) is a NVIDIA MSI GTX 960 2GB.. I would really appriciate an answer!<3

It would help if you explained what you are seeing that tells you a 64-bit OS is running on a 32-bit computer because that will not work.

Some background. The CPU in your computer can run 32-bit or 64 bit. Your OS will either use 64 bit or 32 bit, you choose that at configuration time or purchase time. A 64bit OS can run 32 bit programs. It is very reasonable to find a 64-bit OS running a 32-bit JVM for example. A 64-bit OS will need 64 bit drivers. A 32-bit OS will not run 64-bit programs.
