I have a TP-Link WR710N Pocket Router. It was running OpenWRT and I was attempting to flash the firmware. When it rebooted, the light on the router started blinking, about a quarter second dim, then a second full, then a second off, repeating. Since then, I have not been able to connect to the router at all via the LAN; when I plug in my Ethernet cable it shows up as disconnected in Windows Network and Sharing Center. I can't connect to it on 192.168.1.1, and trying to find any packets via Wireshark has proved unsuccessful, as has the 30/30/30 reset method. Is there any way I could connect to it to fix it, whether it be from the USB port or some other way without opening it up to use the serial? It's inexpensive but I would like to avoid buying another router if possible.

Nope, at this point there's no way to unbrick the device without opening it; sadly, you'll have to do some soldering and a few tricks to unbrick the device. Unless you know what you're doing or you like performing experiments, your best bet is buying a new peripheral. Sorry.

Thanks for that. Not that I would hate opening it up, but I don't have easy access to a soldering iron, and was trying to avoid it if at all possible. Time to buy a new one.
