Need a good 95W CPU cooler (HSF) for 86W CPU
Low noise and secure mounting. It will be installed in a Dell 4700 case
Any suggestions

Pretty sure I replied last night to your second thread on this subject. I believe the 92mm Cooler Master TX3 was suggested. The 80mm Silenex you mentioned would also work as both fit LGA775. I saw a you tube vid on the 3.6 cpu and it gets really hot. This is probably why Dell opted to duct cool air in from the back of the case.

You are correct. Both coolers have similar specs and per reviews, both need to be lapped. Correct lapping improves
cooling. Per the article "tweeking your cpu" (cooler) gave about 18% measured improvement.
