Been 10 days since Intel rolled out a large range of Skylake processors, but still can't find anything but K-series in shops. Anyone heard when they actually will hit the streets? I'm building a low power / silent system, so especially interested in the new T-series.

They likely ran out of stock and are awaiting to receive more. This usually happens with newly released CPUs especially with very popular retailers / e-tailers. It is generally best to wait a while for prices to calm down before buying because people seem to be buying them as soon as they have stock. Of course if you live near a Microcenter, then it is best to rush over there ASAP.

However, they are currently available in the following stores. Note that since demand seems high some places may charge above Intel's recommended price... supply and demand...

jaguarskx: The K-series are quite widely available, but what I'm waiting for and asked about, is the other series (standard 6600/6700 and T-series).

Drives me nuts when things you have been waiting for finally are announced, but takes ages before you can buy it :)
