Hello

Im building a new computer
I have an xfx pro series xxx 850w
A gtx 970
Western digital black 1tb
Raijintech triton
And 835$ left for cpu ram mobo and case
Ram i most likely will buy the gskill ripjaws 4 (2x4) ddr4 2400mhz

And on the x99 platform i found the ASRock X99 Extreme6/ac and it has every feature i can possibly want (i mean x99 and wifi :D ) and its in an acceptable pricerange

But my experience with asrock was very bad
I owned an asrock fm2a55m-dgs and it was terrible very unstable always overheat and just bad in general :(
If this goes for all that is asrock than i rather buy an "overpriced" asus rog or msi "enthusiast gaming"
If they are what it takes to make a stable system :/

Is my opinion shared here or i simply got a faulty product and asrock actually can make good mobos?

Could you share your knowledge with me about this issue?

Thank you! :)

I've used ASRock in 2 previous builds. 1 was a paired up with a 3-core Phenom 450. The other was paired up with an 8 core 8150. Both are still in use today and have gone through loads of useage hours as well as case transfers, etc... No issues on those.

I'd get another any time, if it fit my needs/price.
Every manufacturer will have some bad units leave the factory. It doesn't seem there are serious issues with ASRock in particular. Actually I have the X99 Extreme4 right now with a 5820k; though I haven't had it too long there have been no serious issues.

I havent considered asrock but the extreme 6ac just seem to be the perfect board to me it has wifi its cheap and its blue

My only other choise in this platform and price range would be the msi x99a mpower but it has no wifi and lacks other features
