Hello!

I'm gonna purchase a new graphic card, but I don't know wich one.

I'm looking at the AMD MSI 390X with 8GB DDR5 and the NVIDIA GTX 970 with 4GB DDR5.

I've found some benchmarks and it says gtx 970 is better, but how? it has 4gb less than 390X, isn't important the quantity of the graphics memory?

Also GTX 970 have price arround 500$, if I purchase 2 graphics card around 250$ and connect them with sli/crossfire, it will be better or worse than a single one?

Thanki you so much!

Solution
Yes the 970 will be better. A single and better is better :D. I would wait for nvidia pascal's gpu's or save more for a 980 for totally maxed out games

Thanks for reply!

I'm going to play at 1080p, so it means 970 will be better for me?

I don't know which ones, just around 250$ budget. For that I ask if is better to have 2graphics cards mid-end instead of one high-end.
