Hey all,

Been trying to find a low profile graphics card for my new Dell optiplex 9020.

My goals is to play il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover on it.

It has a Intel Core i5-4590 running at 3.30 GHZ and 8 GB of ram.

Main issue i'm having is finding a graphics card that is:

A: Low profile
B Will be supported by my 250W PSU

As you all seem really good at helping those in need i was hoping someone would shed some light on what is currently the best/affordable low profile low wattage Graphics cards.

Thanks a bunch :)

@ RektSkrubzI had a look for the AMD fury nano and could only find cards that appear to be £800 plus. am i looking at the right thing?

@ Martell1977I have an optiplex 9020, its small form factor.

I couldn't find a PSU that i could fit in order to beef it up. So really need whatever is the "best" card for a 250w low profile card.

Thanks

Yes the nano is incredibly strong and expensive but small and power hungry 250w is not enough for it
You might need to change psu anyway
Take a look at the gtx 750 ti and the gtx 960/950 thoes are not power hungry and dont heat up much

I noticed the GT740 uses 75 watts and the 6540 was 23 watts. as my psu was 250 watts and i have no way of testing what my usage is i'm not sure i would go for that.... i dunno

The only issue in your situation is available space, you can fit only single bracket, single slot video card, preferably with fan to avoid overheat.
Otherwise you power supply can and will support GTX 750TI, but I can not find good picture of you motherboard inside the case. Here is my proof http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127836&ignorebbr=1&cm_re=gtx_750-_-14-127-836-_-Product

Go to page 2 reviews and read slow, it was reported to be supported by non Dell 200 watt PSU and Dell 234 watt PSU, you have 250 watt, what is your question....

If you can make a picture of you PC with side panel open and without any video card, I would say for sure what can fit there! I don't care about Best Answer choice, just trying to help. It is sad to see so good processor wasted on you junk choice of video card.:??:

Forget about 400 watt, read newegg reviews!, Your System is stronger than some of page 2 reviews!

Look at the NVIDIA GTX 750Ti.

This card most likely would not physically fit.

OP located in Europe, not in USA - OP uses Amazon UK for card search.

This is eBay UK, more appropriate
