Is this a bad/faulty PSU?

Hi,

Bought a CIT 450w PSU on Amazon as I was on a budget, and didn't want to spend too much money.

It works great, but I have this weird problem. When I turn the power off on the plug sockets, and turn the PC on after, only the PSU will start up; a few seconds later everything starts up. I can still return the PSU as I have the packaging and I'm within my 30 day return. Is this a faulty PSU? Many thanks,

AKNerd

Cit psus are junk. Return it and buy a quality unit. The psu is a very important part, it's the one thing in the system that can fry everything else. What you are seeing is most commonly seen on units with poor capacitors. Try the find something from Seasonic, Superflower, XFX, Antec or Evga (b2,g2,gs).
