Hey, i have recently went and upgraded my rig with new graphics card

Temperatures weren't problem before as i couldn't stress cpu because it was so hard bottlenecked.

Now that i can run more demanding games my cpu has gotten pretty hot under 50-70% load. Max temperature it has reached is 65c.

I'm little worried as it's stated that temperatures shouldn't go to 70s atleast according to this http://ark.intel.com/products/69114/Intel-Core-i5-3350P-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_30-GHz

I was just wondering if changing thermal paste would do any good to temperatures? Thermal paste has never been changed during its lifetime which is somewhere around 3 years. The cooler is stock in cpu.

If i should go ahead and change it, what would be good paste? I have no idea about those.

Thanks in advance

Solution
You should still be fine but really it is more like the airflow in your case is not good and added heat from a stronger GPU is affecting your CPU temp.

I got both corsair 200r and new psu aswell with my new gpu as this was formerly acer aspire xc600, whose case is smaller that my new gpu :D

I have 2 intake and one exhaust and all other parts are cool, gpu stays mostly at close to 60c under 100%, and all other parts stay stay at good levels according to hwmonitor, so i don't think that is problem.

Edit: mostly i'm interested in if new thermal paste should help anything, as far as i know lower temps mean longer lifespan most of time and i would like to my cpu to be healthy
