All games start to running terribly after a couple of hours

I will be able to play any game at 60fps without dips, stuttering or hitching, basically perfectly but then after a couple of hours every game will run like complete ass, they will hitch constantly, constantly drop frames etc, this will happen in a blink of an eye. I have done a clean format so I fear it's hardware related. I originally thought this was a Witcher III issue but once the issue starts, it affects all games. It's as if the PC builds and builds to the point of breaking and then just goes to shit. My temps are under 70c for both CPU and GPU so I doubt it's heat throttling. I have a pit in my stomach that something is dying, I just don't know what yet....

I'm using a Corsair 750w V2 Enthusiast. I did try resetting my bios entirely at one point, but I had issues in Dying Light still, although I can try that again and test more thoroughly.

Yeah I will try that later, but I have just run Intel Burn Test, Furmark and 3DMark with absolutely no issues at all, I really don't understand why stress tests aren't phasing the PC at all.

I'd like to note I have tried with default settings, no overclock etc and it's the same, even CS GO is hitching like crazy after being left alone for less than 30 minutes.

Pull up GPU-Z and it will start recording all the metrics you could want for the GPU.
It may itself have an issue, or maybe reacting to bad 12v power.

Post a screenshot of the gpuz window stretched out showing before the game, till its doing the thing, then after you close the game. This will show you a lot of insight.

Afterburner shows +0, I think HardOP is reporting the wrong stock voltage, I can't seem to find a clear answer as to what it should be. Interestingly, it only goes this high in the Witcher, not while using Furmark.

1.225 is the boost voltage apparently, so it's fine. I'm now formatting and going back to 8.1 to rule out the OS, I've also contracted the shop I bought the GPU from, it's still in warranty by a few months so if their RMA policy is a good one I'll exchange it just to rule that out as well.

Same on Windows 8.1, so I'm going to format for the 3rd time in as many days and go back to 10 as I prefer it. So what, it has to be hardware at this point? GPU or PSU I'm guessing.

You are spending a lot of money and have the option to swap it. I would run and do it now. :p
