I run Windows 8.1 and I have iTunes. Whenever I turn on my PC it automatically opens iTunes, whether my device is plugged in or not. Please help me out, thanks,
dexter2.

Solution
Sounds like iTunes is in the Start Up folder. If you remove it from that folder, it should prevent it from starting when you boot your system. Found this link for how to access the start up folder in Windows 8.

No it's not in the start-up folder already checked there.

Hello... 1) Click the "Start" Circle Windows logo at the bottom "Task bar"... far left.
2) In "Search programs and files" type MSCONFIG... and click on APP.

This is Windows System Configuration... Boot APPs/Drivers can show up here and be disabled... Re-boot Windows for the changes to be Tested or take effect.
