Today I got my MSI Radeon R9 380 Gaming 4G gpu.
I put it in the computer and everything is hooked in fine, except that I can only plug in one power connector because I only have one available (they recommend both, but that's not an option for me, but I would think it wouldn't even power up if power was the issue ??)
I installed all drivers, using the CD and downloading from the website.
I even used a utility to wipe off all my old drivers and then reinstall them.
I also updated my BIOS just in case.
Despite all these things, the card will not detect.
Nothing in device manager, nothing in dxdiag, and when I plug in my monitor to the card via HDMI and load it up, no signal.
The card is fully powered up and the lights are on and everything, it's just not being detected.
I appreciate any help you guys can give! Thank you.
Here are my specs:
ASRock H97M Pro4
Intel Core i5 4460
Intel HD Graphics 4600 (internal gpu) and MSI Radeon R9 380 Gaming 4G as the gpu I'm trying to put in
Windows 7 Professional
Corsair CX600
