I have a Gigabyte GA-Z97MX-GAMING LGA1150 mATX motherboard. It would help my cable management if I could use the Cpu_Opt port as opposed to my Sys_Fan1 or Sys_Fan2 port. I notice in the bios Cpu_Opt is displayed like Sys_Fans, but don't know if it functions the same. I would use it for two rear 80mm case fans which exhaust air from CPU cooler heatpipes. I would use a PWM Fan Splitter Cable to connect them.
