I recently replaced my Dell Inspiron 660 MoBo. Now my Conexant SmartAudio HD device doesn't recognize that it has a front headphone playback device (although it does recognize the front microphone device, which is present without a phono jack, and defaulted whenever I plug the phono jack in):

All the recording device inputs are recognized:

The drivers are all up to date. How do I get it to recognize the device?

I thought the point of UEFI was that you could restore the UEFI boot entry and all would be well:

I didn't reinstall Windows, and my system is back to behaving exactly as it did before - with this little glitch.

I should add that when I play Window sounds, e.g., move the slider on the speaker volume - they play at perfect volume. It's only when I play, e.g., a podcast that the volume is extremely low.
