when i 1st posted this i git a hell of a lot of flak from people who thingi 'smoked my 1st mobo' with my psu.iv using the same psu today on my new maximus vii hero[and i CAN recommend that]. what i should of probarbly said was dont buy the m5 micro sniper atx as its seems gigabyte themnselves have shelved it.i have 2 very apologetic letters from gigabyte stating the fault WAS with the mobo not the piece between the chair and the keyboard.I am 50 years old and have been around computers when it was tape/reel to reel.etc.i have built over 200 rigs with no complaints. And that is something to brag about.there are some very opinionated young people on this site and im sure you will all have wonderful lives. i leave this conversation tired from dunlop [pun intended] and amazed at how people think they are so much more informed about my situation than myself.it was very funny..

It's a BAD idea to be overclocking on a micro ATX. There is a reason most overclockers do NOT use micro atx. And tom's has proved over and over and over overclocking the cpu will NOT get you that much performance in games, for example (like 2-8fps) for a shorten life. I Bet if you did NOT overclock, it probably would have worked fine for far longer. But then I wouldn't use a micro for any higher end computer....CRAPPY AIR FLOW IN MICRO CASES.
