Looking for possible solutions to my GPU issue...Really kind of confused at this point...
The Galaxy GeForce 650 Ti card I have is supposed to be the 1GB DDR5 version and is marked as such both on the box and labeled on the card itself. I am having an issue where Windows 7 (64Bit Pro) keeps throwing an error message in Device manager "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". I have rebooted, uninstalled the card, rebooted, run off the on-board card, verified all instances of any NVIDIA software and drivers was gone, rebooted...shut down, re-installed the GPU, still no love. Device manager recognizes the card as the NVIDIA GeForce 650 Ti, but refuses to utilize any of the NVIDIA drivers I have thrown at it, even using 5-6 previous versions. I get aggravated at this kind of stuff, so, I began digging. Running GPU Z, I find that this card has almost 3GB of DDR5 AND the BIOS version showing is none of the BIOS versions known to be used with this version of the Galaxy GeForce GTX650 Ti, not that I have found anyway...what the hell?? The card is refurbished...did they load the wrong BIOS when they did the refurb? Has this card been mislabeled and is something other than the Galaxy GeForce GTX650 Ti???...OH!! and BTW!! Clicking on the "Look Up" button in GPU Z, to look up the GPU it is analyzing....I am shown that the card is a "Club 3D GeForce 650 Ti" and NOT "Galaxy", wonder if Club 3D are the ones who did the refurb and loaded the wrong BIOS??..hell if I know...dazed & confused BIG Time..
Here are some screen shots of the results of my investigation...I verified that GPU Z is functioning properly by running it when I used the on-board GPU during troubleshooting...
Any assistance or intelligent input would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks in advance....

maybe an issue with the software?

run DDU clean out all old gpu drivers, install newest from nvidia website

did you plug in the pcie 6-pin?

run a benchmark like valley, see if it runs like it should

Yeup, ran DDU already, the 6 pin is plugged in....pretty sure it was fubared by the refurb company, from the investigative results, something has gone awry
